Unicorn Dyonisiaque collector plate by Salvador
Dali. The first Solid Sterling Silver plate ever created featuring the
work of Salvador Dali. This plate is the result of the superb artistry
of the world's most famous living surrealist artist: Salvador Dali.
The Lincoln Mint, in order to create a plate worthy of the finest
collections, was fortunate to be able to acquire, from Dali, the
exclusive rights to reproduce his Unicorn Dyonisiaque. Only after Dali
was thoroughly convinced that the Lincoln Mint had the ability to
reproduce every line, every dimension and the true spirit of the
original work in its entirety, did he give his permission for them to
do so. This high relief plate is made only from the finest
Sterling Silver that modern metallurgy can refine and produce.
Prior to striking the plate, the dies used were highly polished to
provide you with the handsome--and valuable--mirror finish which is so
highly prized by collectors. This plate comes in its original
plush white box with red velvet lining wrapped in its original film
wrap to protect it from any possible marring of the handsome finish
with which it has been endowed. Certificate of Authenticity is
also wrapped it its original cellophane wrap. 1971. #02080 out of a
limited edition of 10,000.00.
